Capturing moments: inspiration from every journey
Anytime I travel, which is frequent, I consciously look for scenes that stand out or call to me. Since most of the time it's not practical to try and paint something en plein air while traveling, I will take numerous photos of a scene. I then go through my photos and choose the ones that truly stand out, serving as the inspiration for my landscape paintings at Johnny Ledger Art Production.

Everyone has their favorite type of art; some prefer more modern abstracts, which I occasionally do, but my art mostly leans on the realism side of the pendulum.
