I was listening to one of my favorite pastors teach about the blessings of God when he mentioned the “latter rain.” His words stirred something in me, so I began studying the Scriptures to understand the depth of that promise. As I spent time in God’s Word, a song started forming in my heart, and I knew it was meant to bless others with the hope and beauty of God’s Latter Rain.
The House of Apache Fires
On my last trip to Arizona, I set out on a photo‑shoot adventure through one of the state’s breathtaking national parks. Tucked high atop one of the smaller mountains sits the House of Apache Fire—a striking stone home that seems almost carved from the red rock itself. Standing before it, you feel as if the land is holding its breath. The house doesn’t just sit in the landscape; it belongs to it.
No photograph can truly capture what that place gives you. It’s like trying to compare a picture of the Grand Canyon to the real thing—flat images simply can’t hold the depth, the color, or the quiet power of those red mountains. The House of Apache Fire is the same way: beautiful in photos, unforgettable in person.
Adventures in literature
Coming soon—hopefully very soon—is the new illustrated edition of Stuart’s Tablet Mysteries! It’s a project I’ve been pouring a lot of time into, and while it’s definitely labor‑intensive, it’s absolutely worth every minute.
